Deleting sentences added by mistake
If the contributor of the sentence requests that it be deleted, then delete it right way.
If another member requests the deletion and gives a good reason for the deletion, wait 2 weeks to give the contributor to respond, and also to give other members a chance to leave comments.
Deleting sentences added as spam
- If it's obvious spam, just delete it right away.
Deleting sentences that aren't compatible with our CC-By license.
- copyrighted sentences
Leave a comment first to allow the contributor or other members to respond.
series of sentences pairs copied from other websites.
- Even if the items look like commonly-used, everyday expressions, translated pairs, especially all from the same website, can be considered copyrights.
Correcting sentences by members with accounts that have been set to "inactive"
Some members who have "misbehaved" have had their accounts set to "inactive" by the admin.
If you are a native speaker of the language of the sentence that needs a change, you may just go ahead and make the change. If not, then you should leave a comment.
Other members have asked to have their accounts deleted and have been set to "inactive."
Deleting bad tags
If it obvious a wrong tag, and you're absolutely sure it's wrong, you may delete it.
It's a good idea to leave a comment first in cases where you think some members may object to the tag's deletion, and then give members 2 weeks to comment before you delete the tag
